  • Emergency ballast kit for use with new or existing compact fluorescent lighting fixtures. Ballast circuitry automatically switches fluorescent fixture between emergency and normal power operation during power loss and restoration. Operates one fluorescent source at a reduced level for a minimum of 90 minutes to allow safe egress during power outage. Upon restoration, one or both lamps, depending on the host fixture type, return to normal AC operation while the emergency ballast returns to charging mode.
