Note: The 19.75" height measurement includes: the 12" rod that must be used to connect to the bottom of the frame, the 6" rod that must be used to connect directly to the canopy, and the remaining height of the bottom of the fixture frame (base)).
The minimum height IS 22.25". The minimum height includes: 1 of the 12" rods, the 6" rod, the canopy (The ext. of the canopy from the ceiling is 1.25"), and the remaining height of the bottom of the fixture frame.
The maximum height is 46.25". (This includes: all rods, the canopy and the remaining height of the bottom of the frame. The fixture includes 2ea 6", 6ea 12" rods. This is not a max allowed, it is only max height with all included pieces.
This fixture can only be mounted on flat ceiling because the canopy does not tilt.
