  • New Construction line voltage housing with 5” Diameter aperture. Cutout: 5¼” IC rated downlights are suitable for direct contact with insulation. For non-IC rated fixtures, a 3” clearance on all sides must be maintained when insulation is present. Shallow housing is ideal for use in 2” x 6” joist installations. Frame-In kit style housing allows for the use of higher wattage lamps and deep reflector trims. Standard and Shallow housings are Airtight when used with RGK gasket kit. Designed for through branch circuit wiring. Suitable for damp locations. Note: Trims are sold separately.
