    Shallow IC airtight new construction recessed lighting housing for 5-inch trims
    • Meets airtight requirements for 2.0 CFM or less air leakage
    • This thermally protected IC housing is approved for use in direct contact with insulation for improved safety
    • Housing adjusts vertically to accommodate various ceiling thicknesses
    • Includes break-away bar hangers that easily extend and will not fall out of plaster flange, providing sturdy insulation
    • Features a joist tab to locate on bottom of the joist
    • Notches for T-Bar ceilings means you don't have to use clips: simply secure bar hanger to T-Bars with wires and screws
    • Accepts one-piece sealed trims, allowing for no light leakage
    • Features a snap-in socket to locate the lamp in the optimum position
    • Includes integral captive nails, positioned for fast installation
    • Features a bar hanger locking screw to lock bar hangers in place
    • Features a hinged junction box door that allows full access for wiring while remaining attached to the recessed housing
    • Junction Box features an integral Romex connector, quick-push lock connector, and through circuit wiring with 4-in/4-out #12 wire, saving installation time
